Our Services

Comprehensive Eye Examinations

EyeCare Associates will give you the most thorough eye examination that you can receive, going beyond just providing 20/20 vision. In addition to fitting glasses and contact lenses that are customized to fit your individual needs, we will check your visual efficiency, binocularity, eye focusing, and ocular health.  We will also check for the presence of many eye diseases, including glaucoma, dry eyes, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Be sure to ask us about our new optomap retinal exam.

Contact Lens Evaluation

At EyeCare Associates, we specialize in treating both easy and hard-to-fit contact lens patients. We are proficient at fitting bifocal contacts, toric contacts, and even gas permeable contacts, along with many others. We also offer a contact lens satisfaction guarantee.

Treatment of Ocular Disease

At EyeCare Associates, we treat and comanage many ocular diseases. We are able to closely follow glaucoma with our cutting-edge technology, including the GDX. We are also able to treat dry eye with punctal plugs, a procedure that keeps tears on your eyes longer and helps those with even severe dry eye. In addition, we work closely with many specialists, including cataract surgeons, retinal specialists, and pediatric specialists. For your convenience, an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery sees patients at our office approximately one day each month.

Pediatric Eye Examinations

Our doctors are not only trained to treat children, we participate in two programs that offer free screenings for children, Infant See and See to Learn. The American Optometric Association recommends children get their eyes examined at six months and again at three years. Infant See is a national program that offers free vision screenings for infants six to twelve months old. See to Learn is a Nebraska sponsored program that offers free vision screenings to all three year olds. Both programs have been paramount in the early detection of many asymptomatic eye conditions.

Comanagement of Refractive Surgery

At EyeCare Associates, we are able to evaluate whether you are a good candidate for Lasik or other forms of refractive surgery. Our doctors work closely with well-respected refractive surgeons to provide both pre and postoperative care.

We are pleased to accept several different types of insurance including VSP, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Midlands Choice, Medicare, Mutual of Omaha, Tricare and Medicaid.  If you do not see your insurance listed, please check with our staff.
